hi folks.

i need to buy a ticket from cochabamba or santa cruz to lima...can i do that from my computer at home? using what sites if so? or should i use a travel agent down there?

how much might that cost one way? is it gonna cost more to do it there or here?

Lloyd Aereo Boliviano (LAB) Airlines - This was the company that I found had many flights for Bolivia. Looks like they've overhauled there website, as it was really crappy a year ago

You can make reservations online, without paying. I don't remember the policies tho, like you have to pay x days before the flight, or whatnot. I'll leave you to discover this on your own

Flying internally within Bolivia is not too expensive...but flying across borders - that's where it gets expensive. I think the flights I was looking at last year - Sucre-La Paz-Lima cost around $500ish for one way tickets (the bulk of the cost being La Paz to Lima)...the cost was one of the reasons why I decided to change my trip and make my way back to Lima overland.

Try contacting the airline companies to try to get a reservation, see if you can pay when you get there, and their reservation policies...
