Hi, I'm planning an exploratory ski trip to Las Lenas, Argentina. The itinerary is based on a few days at the resort and a few days at a backcountry hut. I'm looking for people to travel with. There are a couple of companies offering trips like this, but I think we can travel on our own for 1/3 the cost.

Does anyone have any hints on booking flights within Argentina?

I'm trying to plan a similar trip. Haven't pinpointed which area I want to go yet - been looking at Valle Nevado in Chile for starters. I haven't strongly considered package deals yet because of the cost - Powderquest.com has pretty ridiculous prices that's way out of my budget.

How long are you going for? For me, I want to snowboard for about a month before starting a more comprehensive South America journey.

What are you doing in terms of research of mountains/accomodation/etc? Have you found any good South America snowboard forums? I'm kinda getting stuck in my planning...
