New year, more new stuff on BnA. This time, we've got a bunch of new maps on some of our city travel guides that will show you where the major attractions are, as well as the hostels, hotels, and other accommodation options. It's a great way to see exactly where the sights are in relation to the places you're thinking of staying.

Each map has attractions marked by stars, and then different kinds of accommodation options marked by different colors. They're Google maps, so you can move them around by clicking and dragging and zoom in and out with the navigation tools on the left of the map. Then, when you find something you want to learn more about, just click on the icon - with accommodation options you'll get more info about it and get a link to book it, and with attractions you'll learn more about that particular sight.

We don't yet have the entire globe covered, but there are lots of cities that already have maps on them. Some of the maps you can check out already are Barcelona, Hong Kong, Montreal, Prague, Munich, Rome, Amsterdam, Paris, London and New York, but there are many more besides. Whenever you get to a city on our travel guides (which you get to through the map on the front page) and you see a tab that says "Map" at the top, you're in luck.

Comments? Suggestions? We love feedback. Let us know.

Looks great. Tried to email, but kept getting rejected as not being human....

Took a look at Montreal, since I am quite familiar with that city and it looks like you could use some help on attractions, etc. There is a huge amount to do and see in that city.

Perhaps, us "Boot folk" could help you.

I took a quick look at the NYC map.

Overall, I like the format and the interactivity of it, but noticed a few mistakes:

There are non-working links to Alexanderplatz and Palacio Real on the page.

The Empire State Building is a few blocks north of where it was last time I looked

Also, Madison Square Garden is placed way out in Brooklyn on the map instead of downtown Manhattan. Personally, I think it would be a better location, but...

I think the maps are interesting. A few comments:

a) Can users request maps of different cities.
b) How difficult is it to add data. For example the Amsterdam map is missing Ann Franks House and Rome is missing a bunch (Castel St. Angelo and Spanish steps to name a few).
c) I think the link should open a new window, which may allow the user to open several links at a time instead of going "back" each time as the map takes a bit of time to upload.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback.

We're working on adding more attractions across the world, and would love your help. That's not something that we have a simple form to fill out yet, but if you'd like to help out then just PM JessieS above and we can go from there.

We'll get on top of fixing the address issues on the NYC map. Thanks for pointing those out.

If PM means private message, then can't. Not human, remember.
