There's no awkward, "Hey everyone" to start off a mass e-mail, and you don't have to spam the ones who don't want to hear from you every week. Travelblogs are particularly great for RTW travelers. Just keep your site updated and your mother can sleep well at night, knowing you are safe this week, laying out on the white beaches of some tiny island off the Thai coast.
