I tried to create a blog last week on bootsnall, but the system wouldn't let me because I have an asterisk in my user name.

I searched and searched for a place where I could change that, but couldn't find one. I sent a message to the bna administrators too but haven't heard back as of yet.

Can someone please help? Will I have to create a whole new profile to be able to do this?

I am walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain this summer and I am excited to start posting some planning stuff want to get started so I can be familiar with all of the features before I get going.

Hey, Jessi (great name!):

The easiest way around this is to go to the Make My Blog page and then, rather than say you're already a member, create a blog as if you weren't a member. It will let you choose whatever name you'd like (unless it's already been used), so you don't have to worry about changing your display name on the boards. You might have to log out of the boards first to do this.

Give that a try and let me know if it works. If not, we can have Chris in the tech department try something else.
