Hi! I just started a bootsnall blog - http://blogs.bootsnall.com/Travelbum25/ - and am a bit new to the world of blogging and have a question.

Since my blog is hosted by bootsnall, does that mean they own the stuff I write? I'm just making sure that what I write on my blog is still mine and that I can rewrite it wherever else I feel like. Since I use my blog like a travel journal I was thinking of having two dual blogs going on different blog servers just to make sure I never lose my content, or memories so to speak.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense or is a stupid question. I just still don't quite understand how the world of blogging works and couldn't find an info page about it on here.

I wrote Chris and asked him about this a couple years ago and he replied that you maintain the copyright to everything on your 'blog

that is correct. You have copyright to what you write. Enjoy!
