I love the Bootsnall travel blogs, but there's one big feature missing: the ability for family/friends to subscribe and get email notifications when I post an update. Yes, yes, I know it can be done with RSS, but that's way beyond my family's technical capabilities.

Bootsnall folks, is there any thought of adding this in the future?

And everyone else, have you discovered any other way to do this?

I really want to use the blog on my trip (leave in 1 week! , but this is making me consider other, less-awesome travel blog sites.

There is an email notification for blogs if your family/friends use Yahoo or Gmail. If you look at the very top of your blog (the part your family/friends see, not your admin panel), there are some links at the top where people can sign up with a Yahoo or Google (Gmail) email address and get notifications that way.
