Can anyone tell me how (or if) I can download/save the text of my pervious blog entries in one go so that I have a word document or e-mail backup version of them (Please don't tell me I have to open each entry individually and copy-paste them out )?

And if I can do this as a one-off for historic posts, is there an easier way to do this for future posts, short of using moblog or copy-pasting everything I write and sending it to myself by e-mail ?

Unfortunately there isn't a process set up whereby you can export your own entries into another format. What you can do, however, is subscribe to your own RSS feed. This will send you your posts to your reader (which can be connected to your email) and this could act like a back-up.

Also know that BootsnAll is doing daily back-ups in multiple locations of all travel blogs.
