Can someone direct me to a boots blog that has a map on it. I haven't stumbled upon one of these yet.

Thanks!

I have a map. I put Lat/Long data on my posts and you can click from the map.

There are some improvements I want to make, but you can get the idea.

I think Kathryn's looking for a blog hosted by BootsnAll, right, Kathryn? And y'know, I thought for sure 1000 Wines had one at the beginning of their trip, but it's gone now. Dang. I put one up on my "test" blog for the sake of a test, but it's not a "real" blog - I only have it so I can know what the heck you guys are asking about when you ask blog questions. Smile

Your right, I want to see what one looks like hosted on boots. I just want an example really.

I've been using Travelpod for my blogs because I love the map that they have. However, I really don't like much else about them.

Kathryn,

I am using Bootsnall's map format, actually it's Googles, but whatever.

They are fairly basic and can be manipulated to be semi-functional.

The things I don't like is that you are limited to straight line a-b. They use these huge balloons as your link, but it becomes unmanageable if you are visiting multiple places in one area.

What I do like is that you can magnify any part of the world map to almost city level, therefore you can make a map with lets say just Rwanda. The details of the maps magnify as well so as you get in closer, more cities and roads appear.

for mom, love steve
