Help! Why when i try and post or save a new entry does it take me to the blog intro page?

This is probably so that you can continue to manage your content, but I have to admit it threw me off as well at first.

To continue editing a post, click on 'save and continue to edit'. To publish, click on 'publish', not on 'save' (this confused me--I admit that I'm stupid --because all my other blogs equate 'save' with 'publish'. Here, it just saves as draft.

Scrolling down the 'dashboard', I've just discovered an array of grey buttons with useful FAQ links.

Legon, if whalewatcher's explanation doesn't help, please let me know and I'll forward your question on to the tech gurus.

Argh--I know I'm stupid, but I've just found that I had 3 entries saved as 'draft'. The 'save' button is bold, so I spend an age editing my post, then hit it instinctively, and the entry is never published

I just thought I mention this here in case it happens to anybody else, although you are probably more clever than me. I find the layout of the new blogs very confusing.
