I have tried searching, but haven't come up with a thread yet....please direct me to one if there's already one around......how do I put "places" on the map in my blog? I've got a map - it just looks like we're not going anywhere;-(
Thanks for your question; unfortunately, the maps on our blogs don't work the way we'd like them to. We had tried to implement the map function earlier, and it turns out it is full of bugs. We are working on a better solution for the future, but at the moment they're far from perfect.
To add a place to your map, however, you just double-click on the city you're going to (or want to make a note about). A bubble will pop up and you can write something in about that place, like when you plan to be there or what you're hoping to see, or whatever. The program automatically connects the dots between places, so be sure to put them on in "order" of when you're going to each place if you want the lines to make sense. I hope that helps, and thanks again for your feedback on the maps!
There are several third party map tools you can use to show where you've been. They are often used on Facebook and Myspace. The output is just an image you can then put on your site.
