Does anyone have any suggestions for us to go with our 2 yr old for christmas and New Years? We want to backpack about a month but would love to spend the holidays somewhere that has a some wonderful holday celebrations and traditions that we would be welcome at.

Though I've never been to these places, I think they would be great for the holidays. Rothenburg Germany would be nice, and Prague looks like a Christmas ornament at any time of year. In the states I would opt for someplace like Vermont in a cabin in the woods, but don't have anything more specific than that. Good luck on your holiday.
