All That and a Bag of Doritos

I will be meeting some friends in Sevilla in late May; two of them now are married with kids.

I am trying to find a place, preferably in the Barrio Santa Cruz, that is family-friendly and affordable. One couple has one child, the other, two. All kids are under 4 years old.

Gracias.

We loved the Armadeus....book ahead it is popular, but very much very old Sevillian feel and great hospitality ( breakfast on terrace with great view.

(We had a 6yo with us and actually stayed in their place next door...Musica).

Do you happen to have a link? I am coming up empty on my search.

Sorry about the typo! I am always writing too fast.

here are some reviews on it:

Here is another possibility that I have heard about for families, but have no experience with:

Apartamentos Murillo in Santa Cruz area. Very good rates, and there are efficiency, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom apartments.

This is a great site for Seville ( in case these are too expensive):

Skype Jeff ( we did ) from that sight ...he is VERY helpful.

Have fun....Seville is one of my favorite places!!

Thanks, WT, I will pass this over to my friend.

Sevilla is also one of my faves...we are all excited because none of us have been back since we lived there. Misty water colored memories, and all thatBig Grin.

I wanted to say thanks again for the Murillo recommendation. Both families we were with stayed there and it served their purposes.

I also wanted to put in a plug for where I stayed, which was also really family friendly. We used www.Sevilla5.com, and stayed at the Santa Cruz apartments, which were literally less than one block from the Murillo apartments (just across the plaza). It was a little more "Spanish" than the Murillo (had a little more charm), good pricing, and good location. If the Murillo is full, check the Sevilla5 site.
