hi guys,

I'm new to this forum. I'm heading to nairobi for a 'holiday', landing on 25/1/08 and hoping to start my kili climb on the 26th. still in the process of vertifying a few details. was just wandering if anyone is heading there at that time as i'll be solo.

I'm looking to do the umbwe route via the western braech. i'm up for a mega challenge and am intensely excited about it all.

just looking at some of the stuff i'll need to buy yet for the climb (eg. sleeping bags, boots etc.)

any hints and tips would be great. hope there's someone there whose doing it at the same time!!

so you will land on 25 in nairobi Kenya and start climbing on 26 umbwe route, do you know that you gonna be in Kenya and mount Kilimanjaro is in Tanzania? and kenya they don't have any route for Kilimanjaro you need to go to Tanzania, Don't go with the illegal route.
