It seems that to be covered by ones normal insurance policies you cannot do anything except go to work (but only sit behind a desk) and go home (again don't do anything risky, say like play with the kids).
So I am going to climb Kili later this month and I think (or thought) I had the medical side covered. But my life or any permanant disabilities are not. Now I do not want my family to have to struggle through financial difficulties while they have to cope with trauma regarding my being disabled or deceased, (I know the stats and know that it is unlikely but there is always the chance). So does anyone know of a short term life and disability insurance out there (for non US citizens). I only need 10 days and then I will be covered by my normal policies. Many thanks Bric |
