Interested: Yes
Want to: Yes

Likely, no Frown I was so close to being able to go on this last one and the money/time off and everything else is not an issue this time around. However, I think I want to time it so that I can use Kilimanjaro as a kick off for going RTW. That would mean the eaerliest would be Dec. 2007.

Why do you want to do it Daisy?

And what would you do differently in Dec 06.

I am so totally in. I could go last time around because I had out of towners visiting that I couldn't ditch... but this time around I'm already saving!

Gloves are bad - use huge ass fleece lined MITTENS with a pair of very thin polypropylene glove liners. And use the chemical hand warmers if necessary.

Hmmmm, not sure why your handwarmers didn't work - mine did (I had them in my pockets when I loaned out my huge ass mittens up there). They work best against bare skin (or against those thin liners like I mentioned). They could have been old, though, that might have been the problem.

Is this being independently organized or is it a BnA expedition?

There's a slight possibility I might be interested. Ok, there's a huge possibility I'm intrested, but a slight possibility that I might be able to go.
