I am looking into booking a Kili climb with an outfit called Ultimate Kilimanjaro. They are a US based company that sets up trips with local African guides and porters. Does anyone know anything about them? Thanks for the references.

RIckman- I've been up Kili three times, most recently with Ultimate last year. The first two times I went on group trips, which were fine, but I decided I wanted to climb alone for a different experience, so I did a private trip up Rongai with them. Overall, I'd recommend Ultimate - it was a very positive, pleasant experience. They were very responsive, gave good advice, were easy to book with, and professional. On the mountain, the guides and porters were stellar.
