Hello all,

I have booked to climb Kilimanjaro next February with F & S Kiliwarriors. I am travelling solo, so will probably get put together with a few other people for the climb.

What I was wondering was if anyone out there has climbed Kili with this outfit and what their feedback is following their experience.

Also, am I mad going solo, or should I be getting a friend(s) to join me?

Evil,

Kiliwarriors is one of the top outfitters on the mountain along with Tusker, IMG, Thomson and others. You can be confident in your choice.

If, by chance, you are the only client and nobody else signs on don't worry too much. The camps always have other groups in them so you will meet other people there. As for the day hikes, your English speaking guide will be near by but you will be busy breathing not talking.

My son and I did the Western Breach Route with Tusker in 04'. We were the only "clients" with 19 support people but met lots of nice people along the way.

Have a great time. It is an awesome experience.
