Hi, people in this thread said glasses and contacts were easily obtained in Thailand, so I know I'm planning on gettin' some. Too bad it's so early on your itinerary.

Do you have to wear dailies or can you try the kind that you toss after 2 weeks? That's what I use and I love them.

I've got some that I wear for a month straight, just pop 'em in on the 1st, take 'em out on the 30th. I've found it much much easier than taking them in and out daily.

yeah i am considering weekley or monthly but what i'm worried about is i alwayd drop my dailies, or they pop out of my eye every now and then so it would be a pain to lose a pair of monthlies but what i may do is buy a pair and try them out before i go, i can always put a couple of spare dailies in my back pack

jester, do you keep the mothlies in all the time even at night for a whole month? and if yes do they make your eyes really dry?

thanks guys

I think it depends on your eyes, but my doctor specifically told me not to sleep with them in. I think some people can but I get very dry and itchy.

I've lost my weeklies... the truth is that you an wear a 2 week contact for 3 weeks with no problem as long as you keep them clean. The boxes are tiny, 6 contacts per box, 2 boxes (1 for each eye) lasts me 3 months.
