so, i've been doing research and been getting different info and opinion on the need for any sort of anti-malaria meds for my upcoming trip to South Africa in a few weeks. I do plan to visit the Hluhluwe Game Reserve, so:

from this web site:

"Special Precautions:
Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park is in a LOW RISK malaria area and visitors need to consult their doctors before visiting the area."

and from this one:

"Health & Climate
This is a malaria area and the necessary pre-cautions must be taken.
It is advisable to use an insect repellent at night."

Though other sources, including locals in SA, they say, 'not necessary' -- I'll be in SA only during this trip, not elsewhere in Africa.

any further info/advice from those in the know would be appreciated.

/Steve
