I use disposable contact lenses, i wear them for a week and then throw them away. I will be traveling for about a year through NZ, OZ, SE Asia, India. Any suggestions on how to refill my supply, or do I have to take a years worth with me? Also any advice or thoughts on changing contact leses off the beaten path? As in, bacteria, access to clean water etc...

I will of course also bring glasses and perscription sun glasses just in case.

Disposable contact lenses are now available in India in reputed stores like Lawrence and Mayo which has its outlets in metro cities and larger towns. I can vouch for their availability in Mumbai (bombay) and Bangalore. But, if you are travelling to places other than cities, you will not get these disposable contact lenses.

I always prefer to wear glasses when I travel and in fact always carry a spare pair of glasses with me.

Have a nice trip
