I just got back from Brazil and two days before I left I noticed a small blister and I popped it and my arm started iching. I showed it to some people and they said I wouldn't die, Don't worry. It's been a week and now I'm not so sure. I was near Sao Paulo, in Jundiai, when it happened. I can send out a picture if anyone thinks they can help me identify what bit me and what actions I should take. Thanks heaps.

I guess I would like to see a picture, I can't promise that I know what I am taking about, but a picture I imagine would help.

Book an appointment with a travel doctor. I don't know where you're from, but Ontario medical benefits cover trips to travel doctors after a trip. Anyway, if it's something serious s/he'll be able to tell you what it is.

I think you should really have a doctor check you up. An anti-allergin shot may be required. Sometimes, the rash can appear all over your body due to a tiny bite. best take medical advise.

Thanks for the thoughts. I've got some people looking into it. It may not be a bite after all. It is good to bring home something from the travels.
