Anyone got any descent ideas on how one can let other relative/friends know where you are with the least of hassle?
- I'm going to be travelling round asia for the next year or so, but want to make sure that if the worst happens (get stuck in a bangkok jail / captured by salivating canibals / forced to be a gigilo by a horde of scantily clad playboy playmates) I want someone to realise ASAP, rather than starting to worry ten months later, by which time my skull is being used as a soup dish.
Slight paranoia I know, but its best to be carful eh?

I know it sound silly, but a GSM mobile and you're instantly "contactable" almost everywhere in the world...! Besides, they're usually free!!! if you actually never use them! :-)
