Hi, I am an Italian student. I am going to spend 1 month in california this summer. I need to get a medical insurance that would cover all the medical costs if I'd need them while i'll be there...being the U.S.A. a country without socialized medicine I really need to get it.
I went to a few insurance companies here in Italy, but they ask for so much money for a 1 month isurance. (more then 150 euro!)
Does anybody know how I could get an insurance for cheapoer? ...maybe online?...
Grazie!
Angelo

I used worldwideinsure.com it offered a pretty good deal for me. They have a UK resident page and an international resident page: http://www.worldwideinsure.com/WWTswitcher.php?policy=IN&partnerID=0&partner=null

Off topic...,
But most Americans would LOVE to be able to buy health insurance for 150 Euros per month.

Check out the Bootsnall "travel insurance" link from the homepage. Has some good comparisons.
I also found www.insuremytrip.com to have some good prices.

Diplomat International offers good, cheap travel insurance. Mine is only $53 USD/month with a $250 deductable!

I believe its available to citizens of any nation.
