Hello folks,

I went in for a physical about a month ago, and my bloodwork came back with elevated liver enzymes, which is apparantly a bad thing. So, I went back to the doc a few weeks later to get blood drawn again to check my liver and also to get tested for hepatitis. Hep came back negative, and enzyemes are still elevated. I'm scheduled to get an ultrasound Nov 9, and I leave for Oz Jan 4. I'm terrified the doctor is going to tell me something horrible, and I'm not going to be able to take my trip! Has this happened to any of you before?

Well, I guess that's what I get for going to the damn doctor!

Nope, it has NEVER EVER happend to me, fortunately!

Chris D, I went to get a physical recently after having drank an obscene amount of beers and smoking nearly two packs of cigs the night befor. The doc said, "well, your heartbeat does sound a little irregular." Haha, I'd imagine so.

Ever heard such valid medical advice as this? Good, I thought not.
