CARBONDALE, Colo. - Doctors thought the strange, bleeding bumps on Aaron Dallas' head might be from gnat bites or shingles. Then the bumps started moving.

A doctor found five active bot fly larvae living beneath the skin atop Dallas' head.

We just returned from Belize. Before we left, I read an incredible story about a kid who had these after a three week trip to the jungle in Belize. I had some awful bites when we returned, and started worrying it was a botfly bite!! I totally wigged myself out looking at stories on the internet about experiences with botflies. Google Botfly larvae and see what comes up. It truly is UNBELIEVABLE.
