I've heard many of my British friends mention that they have an annual travel insurance policy. I'm trying to find something similar in the US, but haven't had any luck yet.

I take a few international trips a year, and figured I might as well buy one policy for the year as opposed to individual policies. There's also a chance I might take a longer international trip in a few months.

I would not know at the outset which countries I'll be traveling to and when, which I know many travel insurance providers ask for. Would this be a problem in terms of an annual policy?

I'm just looking at travel medical insurance, since it seems like arranging trip insurance would be too difficult on an annual basis (and I don't even know if it's offered)

I'm also into extreme sports, so I'd want something that ideally had an extreme sports rider.

I've used AIG once before, but they don't seem to offer anything on an annual basis.

Hi cmb...There is an annual policy for US citizens and it covers extreme sports execpt motor racing, but your individual trips cannot be longer than 30 days. This policy (IHI)is not available online..just call the BootsnAll office at 866-549-7614 for a quote. Insurance for longer than 30 days I suggest the Patriot International policy, also has optional sports coverages.listed on this page. http://www.bootsnall.com/travel-insurance/travel-medical-insurance.html
