I'm travelling in India. Haven't had a problem with mosquitoes in the north but I am heading down south for two months and want to protect myself. I'm not taking any malaria meds and am not too excited about the prospect of Deet but I think it's the lesser of the two evils. Does anyone know if Deet is available to buy in India? I haven't seen any so far. Thanks.

I did not see Deet but plenty local products are available...coils,night lamp with oils, ointment called ODOMAS, natural products like Neem oil etc and plenty of mosquito nets available.
