Dear Tara, I enjoyed your article but would like to throw some cold water on your idea of going to Bangkok for medical care. I live in Thailand and have had surgery done at one of the top Bangkok Hospitals. Thailand is known for many things, one of them is corruption...and that includes corrupt medical licenses...or as I found out through research on a "specialist" in his field in Thailand who is wanted on homicide charges back in the USA. I agree with you....traveller...research, research and research. |
