Victoria, I feel for you - sort of. You lucky duck, you are on a SUV of megayachts. The 31st largest yacht in America! Designed to look like an ocean tanker, and travel like an ocean tanker! I know, though, how frightening it feels to be in the middle of the big blue void, a void that is churning and howling and throwing you around. You feel like a little speck instead of the big guy that you are, an expedition yacht with a gym and luxury and high tech equipment. Kudos to you for being chef of all that!

As for riding out the storm, the wave-runners are a lot scarier. The owners of one of the boats I was on both drowned on a similar excursion to yours.
