What fun! Living in New York I've always been turned off by the brusque sales people in these Canal Street shops. And I guess if I'm going on a covert shopping mission it should be for the real thing at a deep discount. The knock-offs seem pretty pricey (and I retain a shred of ethics when it comes to ripping off a trademark -- too similar to plagiarism). ____________________________ No one trip is "the trip of a lifetime" -- they all are. |
