I'm an Aussie who has spent some time in NZ and do agree , they tell far to many Irish jolks.I also found many of the people in the smaller towns a bit odd.In fact it reminded me very much of the people in the small Irish towns , but there accents were perfect.....

Very entertaining story!.... I hope you did actually enjoy NZ after all that. I fit into the catagory that moved away from home and am living in the States for the time being. We wouldn't make such a mokery of the irish if it wasn't for such programs as 'Father Ted' etc... what sort of image does that portray.
