Geez, that's a downer of an article on a beautiful city.

There is a Florence bus map. I don't know where to get it, but my friend's daughter definitely had one. Perhaps the bus station? The only problem I found with the buses was that if the traffic was bad, the bus was quite slow.

Florence is relatively small. If you have the time, it's quite a pleasant city to walk in. That means more to see, and less to pay.
