Some of you have replied to my rants about the difficulty in finding a job when you are a golden oldie. I thought about it, the problem was not age but attitude.

Yes, I can no longer afford to let the travel bug bite me. I need a complete make over. No more bootsnall addiction, no more short spiky hair, no more smelly sneakers or sandals, no more travel dreams

I must say that it was nice knowing you all at BNA. I shall so miss so many of you, especially the the Bootie crew, PC, Erik, Delara, PB, Madhu, Jeanette and Madra,Megan,JoeE,Lu, Jen Leo, whom I interacted with, at least over msn or email.

It will also mean, no longer being part of the private writers forum - sorry Slip and crew.

I had an interview today in an accounting firm, I have another interview with them on Monday. It means that there is some hope...

Reforming oneself is painful. The first step is to stop browsing BNA. Farewell all.

Hope you dont kill your travel dreams, like I just did.

Dusty, I'm sorry I don't know you very well at all, but I do know you provided some very gracious, helpful responses to my dilemnas in the past...

I don't know what to say! Are you sure you have to completely kill off pieces of your life?

Lynn, thanks for being a good sport about this. Scubamama... well it wasn't entirely an april fools. Now for the good news (Yes, I am saying good)... I got the job at that accounting firm. Being a golden oldie and searching for a job is really really tough. But they, I will always remain a BNA addict, even if travel will be relegated to just the annual vacation time. I did need this job and for once I am glad to be back in the corporate rat race.

Not having you here on a regular basis worries me greatly. What can I do to convince you to stay?
