Thought some might be interested in the comments to the identical thread I started on Flyertalk as on BNA. My - 1961 -thread has rxd only a few responses on BNA. I've posted the majority of them!! Yet on Flyertalk...a little different result. Goes to show the impact of having different target audiences for each board.

I guess going between different msg boards is kind of like traveling. You can learn a little bit from each one. Which is why I have often "asked/wondered about" the same question in different places while traveling. Powerful method of learning.

Flyertalk has been a GREAT resource for me, and I've met some fantastic people thru there. Have been able to pull off some fantastic international trips (most in Business Class, even) on a decent budget, fast-track to higher elite status levels with an airline, VIP lounge access at international aiports (being able to take a shower and enjoy some real food in the middle of a long haul--priceless), etc. They're also good at "making" people do their homework first when answering questions, using the site's search function for information before asking for it, etc. I'm glad I found it.
