oops. One of four photos I uploaded was with an incorrect caption. Image 2995 should be "Grote Markt, Antwerp, Belgium"

(PS: Oh, and if anybody is listening, yesterday's photo submitter commented on the photo that his picture is not anonymous.)

Image 2995? Can you send me a link? I don't know what "image 2995" means.

And I changed that "Anonymous" thing - if people don't put their names in the submission form, I have no way to know who took the photo! Dang. Well, I'm glad he posted.

I cannot send the link because the image was only submitted...not posted. img_2995 is the file name. it is of a statue bathed in red-ish light, a white church in the background and a very blue sky.

BOOTCOM seems to have more than enough submissions--so much so that your photos take several weeks to a couple of months if they are accepted before showing up. Also, submitted photos are not posted in the order that they are received.

I have this theory that, back at BOOTCOM WORLD HQ, after ritually sacrificing baby puppies after chanting three times "Jester is God" or whatever they do for fun, a couple (1 to 3) people sit around with a bottle of $12 Italian wine, some cheese, and all the recent submissions...and determine what photo gets posted when at their inebriated leisure. Secret stuff! You heard it here first!

Stoo - thanks for the clarification, I'll go find the photo. You told me what the caption is supposed to say, do you remember what it said before? The wrong caption? That's how the files are stored in the "draft" section. Thanks.

Madhu, I know I've set some of your photos to publish (at least one, anyway) in the next month or so. I usually work a couple weeks out, and try to not put the same person up twice in a row - so if you submitted a few pictures, it's likely they'll be spread out a bit. And Stoo's right, I have a ton of submissions now. (My begging worked! Ha! ) So you might not see all of your photos up for months. You should, however, get an email notice when they do go up (if you put your email address in the submission form, that is).

Hmmm...I must have submitted the wrong photo and thought it was an Ireland one....but today's photo certainly is *not* Dingle Ireland!!! It's Ktikadhos, Tinos, Greece! That's my oops -- could the caption be fixed???

Thanks Jessie! I hope I didn't do the same thing with the other photos I submitted a few weeks ago!

If any of my other 'Ireland' photos have a sunny, mediterranean look to them, shoot me a note!
