Okay, beaut of a board, but where's the handy dandy "new posts from your last visit" search option? I miss it!

That threw me too. The "view new" isn't gone, it's just been made less obvious. (Chris is going to check and see if we can bring it back to the forefront, and I'll also check on the subject line stuff - I like being able to change that too).

What you do now, is at the top of page where there are links for "BootsnAll Homepage" and "boards.bootsnall.com", there's a little globe. If you click the globe you get 2 options, one of which is "New since your last visit". Like I said, not the most obvious thing, but at least it's still there!

Thanks for the feedback. Keep it coming!

I must say, I love these changes. I am sitting here in Bali just wanting to cruise the boards more.

joe e. Can we still be friends? We will not be like the well (even though it is great), we will move forward with hopefully better stuff.

Something else that's kinda neat:

Again, back up at the top of the page, but this time between "boards.bootsnall.com" and "Feedback" there's an icon of a wee house. Click that and a menu of all the main board categories pops up. Much easier to jump from one category/section to another.

One more new wee feature...

In the bottom right corner of any post, there is a little triangle with an exclamation point in it (if you hover the mouse over it, it says "Report this post).

Clicking that lets you tell me and the guys that you think we should have a look at that post. Use it for things like spam, abusive comments, that sort of thing. Hopefully though, that button will hardly ever need to be touched.

Update on this "Report this Post" feature....I just found a bunch of reported post from the past month and took care of them...thanks to Dusty and other for reporting the spammy stuff. It helps us stay on top of it better and we will be quicker from here on out.

Yeah, i was home for a whole month, and hence could be of service. Now, browsing my fav site for 15 minutes twice a day is a luxury.

Its back to thick fat books....

Hmm. Guess that they will have to pull your "vagabonder" title and rename you "fat book traveler"
