I'm not sure if this goes here or in the travel articles... I've read "Croatia nutz and bolts" and there are a few things I'd like to comment on.

In common phrases it's written "no = nijedan". Nijedan means "none", the word for no is "ne".

It's also written please = ugoditi. Ugoditi means "please" as in "to please someone", to gratify, satisfy (and also to tune a musical instrument Big Grin ) but otherwise the Croatian word for please is "molim" (or "molim vas").

"The capital, Zagreb, has recovered well since the war" - well, there was almost no war there, nothing to rebuild there. Dubrovnik had a lot of it and it recovered beautifully.

"rural roads are in poor condition" - road Split- Dubrovnik is not remade yet but so much work has been done on the roads recently, a whole new high-way connecting continental part of the country with the coast was built this year, so this info is not really up to date.

Also, it's written that there are "more than a million mines" - that is incorrect. The actual number is a bit less than 250 000, you can easily check it by emailing our mine action center. In a few years the WHOLE country will be completely cleared. Can't wait Smile

There are also a few other things there that in my opinion are not the best of info, but I don't want this to look like criticism, as I just wanted to give a friendly feedback cause I love bootsnall Smile

Thanks for pointing out the errors - we'll fix em right away. We'd also love more info on Croatia if you want to write about the country!

Cheers
Court
