I am an editor. That is, I write my post, post it, and invetiably edit it AT LEAST once because I don't like the way it sounded, forgot something, had a typo, whatever. If someone has notifications on for that particular thread are they getting 4 copies of the same thing???

yeah yeah, I know I didn't edit this one... knew that would happen, lol

notifications seem to be sent out about 5 minutes after the first time you post a message. so, if you edit quickly, inside that five minute window, people will get your edited message. any edits after that 5 minute window, and they'll only be viewable on the boards. people will be emailed whatever form your post is in at that '5 minute after first posting' point.
