All That and a Bag of Doritos

In planning my current trip, I have been using the hotel function quite a bit.

I think it is strange that when you go to the "Hotel" home page, I am given an option to look up best providers, which goes to the hotels.com, hotwire, etc. But, if you click any of the cities below, it goes to the venere.com search engine.

This is weird to me. I would rather use the venere.com function, but feel kind of like there are more hoops to jump through.

I am thinking perhaps the "best providers" is a paid advertisement piece?

I dunno, just seems kind of cludgy (cluegy? cloogy?) to me.

Hi Annie,

Thanks for your feedback on this.

We have development already in progress to improve our hotel section. I'll make sure your comments are part of the evaluation process on things to fix.

Cheers!

Are you guys no longer using Venere?

I tried to do a search, and the hotwire, expedia, etc. options came up. I always found that Venere had smaller places that those big guys may not.

I looked all over to no avail...

AB,

For now - on hotels.bna.com there is not Venere. We'll be bringing them back in new and improved format on another area of BnA in the near future.

Yes - they do have more smaller places - no doubt.
