At another bulletin board I go to, whenever I post in a thread there is a little checkmark next to it, so when I leave and come back later I will know exactly where I have posted. Is there a similar feature here? I read a lot of threads but then forget where I've posted and have to do a search on myself if I want to find something in particular....there has to be an easier way.

You can click on your your screen name and choose "See Recent posts by...". If you do get Notifications you'll have a list of those in your "Personal Zone" (No, I'm not making a pass at you, that's just what its called). Go to the "Go" menu, choose "Notifications". You can also "Favorite" threads as well.

A myriad of ways to chase threads. I think the Favorites option is what you're looking for.

When you're looking at a thread and want to add it to your favorite list go to the "Tools" menu above the original post and choose "Add to my Favorites". Voila!

You can also subscribe to email notifications of the threads you've posted on. You'll get an email when someone responds in that thread. Slightly different than what you were looking for but it's another way to keep track of threads you've posted o if you want to monitor replies. You can also decide how often you want to receive those notifications - immediately or in a daily/weekly digest.

I clicked on some kind of email notification thing but I'm getting emails for threads I've never posted in...I guess I did something wrong. But the recent posts thing is really helpful...thanks

Janetlynne, the email notification thing you clicked on is subscribed to all topics and all replies in the BootsnAll Members' Forum, with immediate email notification the delivery choice. Which means you're very likely going to get notifications for topics you've never posted in.

To change this, click on the 'Go' & 'Personal Zone' & 'Notifications' to manage your subscriptions.

thanks Hydro. I've changed the email notifications, I think! I guess I was just I will have to start adding threads I've posted in to favorites. Either that or I have to find a thread I've posted in, find my name and click on my recent posts. I guess I thought there might be an easier way.

For me, I have my internet options set up so that any time I click on a link, it changes color. This helps me in knowing which topics I've posted in.
