Are there any websites with sample travel itineraries that are searchable by country?

This is a feature BootsnAll should have.

Sorry, I don't like that idea at all.
To me, planning an itinerary and doing it in my own is half of the fun that travel is.

It's quite disheartening already, seeing people "doing" the same places, routinely, as prescribed by LP guide books.

To me, planning an itinerary and doing it in my own way is half of the fun that travel is.

Bump. Hey Static what is happening with this idea?

I think it could be good if you had several itineraries per country all submitted by different people. I would be happy to contribute one for the UK.

While that's rather the exaggeration, if what you're looking for is suggested itineraries, the LP website has all the first chapters available online for free. Just browse through their e-book store, and download the first chapters for the countries you're interested in.

Not something I would use either, but I can see the appeal.

They don't have the European guides though.

Not necessarily. In many South-East Asian countries you can get really cheap (4-5 US dollars) good copies of the LP guides. And in every country on the backpacker highway you'll be able to pick up cheap second-hand LP guide books from hostels and bookshops in the hostel areas.
