Spirit added ALOT of new caribbean destinations this year. And you know how they have specials all the time, makes caribbean vacays VERY cheap. For July 4th they had a "Spirit of 1776" sale where ALL the flights were $17. Each leg was $17, lol. I cannot wait to take advantage of their new itineraries.

Now if only they'd fly to the French West Indies! But I havent been to any of the above places (except san juan and cancun), so this is good news for me. Delta introduced direct flights from ATL to Martinique last summer. Wonder how thats coming along....

I heard a rumor that they are adding Cartagena at the end of the year.

Spirit Airlines now flies to Port-au-Prince, Haiti from Fort Lauderdale because of the large Haitian community in southern Florida. It would be nice if more airlines and tourists would consider going to Haiti again.
