I will be married in a year time and me and my future wife are planning our Honey Moon in the Caribbean. We have been in several travel agencies but nobody has offered what we want!
We don't want to go in a resort and spent all the time there. We want to rent a house or a bungalow and discover the place by ourselves.
What do you recommend? Which island is the most peaceful one and the best to be able to be alone?

Thanks a lot,

Nathan.

I recommend St. Kitts!

It is a beautiful laid back island with lots of friendly and helpful locals. The beaches aren't crowded, lots of fun beach bars and restaurants, rainforest hikes, catamaran excursions, and so much more. You can also do a day trip to Nevis.

There are a variety of villas you can rent www.beachmusicvilla.com

I have found the following websites helpful:

www.stkitts-tourism.com
www.myisalnds.myeyez.net
www.discover-stkitts-nevis-beaches.com

I believe Excel has a flight from Gatwick to St. Kitts.

The second website should be www.myislands.myeyez.net

You'll find lots of St. Kitts fans there. Smile

What is your budget for accommodations? Another option is to stay in Nevis, which is a lot quieter than St. Kitts.

Visit www.hurricanecove.com for accommodations.

I spent one night there and loved it!

I believe Nevis is what we need...

I'm looking forward to going there, with my wife, and not only my fiance! Smile

Thanks a lot,

Nathan.
