I'm looking into spending my Christmas break on one of the Lesser Antilles or other small Carribean island. Problem is that getting there, at least by air, is a bit more expensive than I was expecting. Are there any tips to finding a cheap way to get to one of the smaller islands either from the US or from one of the Greater Antilles?

Check out the Sunday travel section of the Miami Herald-there are usually decent fares to be found therein. I found a MIA-Grenada RT fare for under $400.
