How bad is hurricane season in the Bahammas/St lucia in june does anyone know?

You'll just have to take your chances I suppose. I was in the Bahamas in July and we had a short rain shower most days but it didn't last long and it cooled things down. It was also a bit breezy some days but that helped with the heat. I think you'll be fine, especially if we have a hurricane season like last year's non-existant one. Have fun! The Bahamas is great. I'm trying to plan a trip there myself right now...maybe Eleuthera!

Consider checking out Margarita Island. We went there for a month since we read it was cheaper than most other Caribbean islands. Plus it's below the hurricane belt and gets something like 350 days of sunshine per year.

I didn't see a cloud or drop of rain the entire month (May).
