We travel there as tourists rather often. And I understand that there is concern of people's safety measure in this country. We HAVE NOT experienced any problems with travel to this country. Below I will list our personal travel webpage for Haiti. This page is non-commercial and NO revenue is accrued from the site. Thank You.Travel To Haiti

Hotels that I recommend in Haiti that are in or near the capital are the El Rancho Hotel, the Villa Creole, Hotel Montana, Prince Hotel, and the Kinam Hotel.

Beautiful pics--thanks for posting. I went to Haiti in 2003 on a church mission trip. I planned to visit Hotel Montana, but it did not work out. I stayed in a boys home
St. Joseph's Home for Boys, or affectionately known as "Michaels". This was founded and run by an Iowan who moved to Haiti. It is located in Petionville off Delmas street. You should look it up if ever looking for a new place to stay. Very beautiful, and you are treated like royalty from the moment you step through the door.

I have been to Haiti, but it was many, many years ago. It is a fascinating place altho one of those places that is sad to see such differences between the ultra rich and abject poverty. It felt like Africa in some ways.

I can tell you to not eat raw clams there no matter how upscale your hotel is, as that is how I got hepatitus ( altho it was not a problem for me and I did not even know I had it until I turned bright yellow).
