I just watched a cooking show and the chef/presenter was talking about breaking the monotony of the week and having quick theme dinners middle of the week on a wed night...

she is the author of a book called 30-min dinners or something similar.

Great idea!!

Give me some ideas of things you have done around a theme....and how successful were they?

i don't know if i would call it a theme dinner, but its quick and tastes yummy!
fajitas - not the excellent original Smile but the great thing is they can be packed with veg and/or meat so they can be made for everyone..
i usually finish them off by grilling the filled wrap and serving with a bit of cheese and some natural yoghurt and salad.
all you have to do is get the spice mix (either packet or make your own), cook your meat and vege, cover in salsa and wrap together. i like the tomato tortilla wraps.
max cooking time 10 mins, entire thing ready in about 20mins.
i can provide a more detailed recipe if you want?
yummy, now i'm hungry - twenty minutes til lunch..........mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm HeHe
