Thanks, Madhu! I love to cook AND try new recipes. This is just what I need to spice up the cooler days of this Indiana springtime. Smile

Speak English buddy...am just FOB from India.

Tips: U can get can of coconut milk in the Asian sections of groceries.

Also instead of Coriander and Cumin seeds u can get powders in the spice aisle.

To reduce heat ..takes the seeds out of the red chillies.

For some colour you can add Tomato quaters in the dish right at the end.

Enjoy...I made it yesterday for some friends.

This sounds like you have some friends who aren't used to cooking anything ethnic? I grew up around Asian food stores with the smell of 5 spice, salty plums, curries of all descriptions and packets of sea cucumber in clear packages... Smile
I'm doing the old school Madhu recipe, and I bought some prawns today. Huge tiger prawns about 5 inches long and as thick as three of your fingers.

Yeah some of friends love to eat Indian food in Rest but you don't get good regional food from India in rest...Def not Goan food. AND they are used to the Americanized ethnic foods.

Cool Tiger prawns...I have a great Tandoori recipie for Prawn Kebab for next recipie exchange.

Let me know how it went!!
