Monk's Diner from "Seinfeld"? Central Perk from "Friends"? Moe's Tavern or Krusty Burger from "The Simpsons"? How about The Max from "Saved by the Bell"? What's your favorite fictional place to eat?

+++++++++++++++

A world of adventure...

Ok, to get this thred going, I'll post mine...

"Monk's Diner" from Seinfeld. The exterior shots are actually Tom's Restaurant in New York City; which was also featured in the song "Tom's Diner" by Suzanne Vega (Do do doo do, do do doo do...).

During "Seinfeld's" heyday, myself and some buddies traveled into Manhattan to check this place out. The inside of Tom's is actually very tight (as compared to the roomy interior set on the show), and the food is just as grease-spoon as you can get--at least at that time...I haven't been back there since. Definately worth checking out if you're the slightest "Seinfeld" fan.

How about "The Peach Pit"?

Yes, I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I used to watch Beverly Hills 90210 -- in my defense, I was usually stoned when I did so...

I often wonder what happened to that guy the ran the Peach Pit...Nat I think was his name. What is he doing now?

Another great fictional place to eat is the Restuarant at the Edge of the Universe.

It's definitely Luke's Diner from Gilmore Girls. Boy, I sure could use some waffles right about now.

Let's all be true to ourselves - EVERYONE watched Bev-Niner. No need to be ashamed.

And the best thing about Nat... his real name, if I recall correctly, was Joe E. Tata. He's probably still hanging out with the cool kids at The Peach Pit After Dark.

The restaurant at Fawlty Towers.

BTW, I used to go to Tom's diner all the time when I was at Columbia. I remember how the waitress would insist on you eating all the 17-thousand side dishes included in the $4.10 dinner platter. She'd get offended if you refused the potatoes. As diner food went, it was pretty good.

Budd's I will tell you seriously that I never saw ONE episode of Bev911 or the spin off.

By the way...I want to say that I am pleased that no one said Central Perk...which I hated.

10 Forward is a GREAT pull!

I had forgotten about this....but if we get to go to novels, I would give a shout to Callahan's Crosstime Saloon as well. (Spider Robinson, kids. Played pool with him. He's tough)

Ditto.

It is, after all, where the single greatest romance in television (hell, quite possibly in human) history played itself out before our eyes:

Oh, Pinky Tuscadero, where are you now?
